| At last the day has finally come... you have gone your entire life wondering what this moment would actually feel like, fondly daydreaming of how you would be dressed up as you walk down the aisle... Of course, the wedding reception, menu, flowers and theme are all important, but what will people remember the most about your wedding day? Being the character that is the focus of attention, it will certainly be you and your wedding gown. Brides – yes, that’s you – are different from ordinary people. They live in an enchanted world of their own which may or may not follow the current fashion. Brides may flaunt extravagance on their wedding day without feeling guilty even if the extravagance is way out of place. You know that you will be forgiven for doing so. After all, this is your once-in-a-lifetime event and, while there are budget limitations, your wedding gown is regarded as the most important fashion purchase that you will ever make. Wedding gowns range from traditional to avant garde, depending on the theme that you have decided on. Some of you may want to have your gown patterned after the ones worn by famous personalities, or by main characters of certain Hollywood movies – period or contemporary settings. Some of you, on the other hand, would prefer something more original that should be created exclusively for you. Whether you opt for ready-made or haute couture - expensive or less - outfits for your wedding, each of you must bear in mind that it is your uniqueness and charm that always matter. Your gown must enhance your personality, not overshadow it. A face-to-face consultation with a number of your prospective designers would be perfect, when searching for your dream wedding gown. In talking with them, make sure to specify what you want, ask for advice and explore all possibilities.
